Getting used to Bush

Unnatural Disaster

Thankfully awarded

his peers have nominated
God is indeed

The Master Race Marches
By M. JUNAID ALAM
Slaves of Man, arise:
The Master Race marches.
Can you not hear the clanging of your chains
Or the beating of Their breasts?
Black gloves wrap around coiled
white fists
Raised in rage against that unrepentant race
Of dark-skinned sinners
Whose fragile hands,
Wielding but stones
Serrated on suffering,
Dare a phalanx of tanks
Whose weak limbs
Wilted by the deadly tune
Of starvation's hymns
Carry off unbroken spirits
Whose tortured backs
Bow to imperial commands
Voiced in the resting chambers of freedom
And echoed in the prisons of Guantanamo.
Spread out across all continents
These are the marked children
Born of the Crescent
All instigators
Of September Eleventh:
The sole tragedy in a history
Held hostage to farce
Written in the blood of
Watts and Wounded Knee
Sioux and Saigon
Engraved as epitaphs
On the unmarked graves of unworthy
Others.
These brown, black, and unseen;
Voices sloughed to the sidelines of civilization
Tread upon by the triumphant
March of the Master Race.

A Downsized Man with
Three Dependents Contemplates Empire & National Sacrifice
By CHARLES ORLOSKI,
Jr
If I only knew how to fly a
B-52,
I'd bring Ossama
Down to the size of my W-2.
"Surrender all corporate
templates,"
Immolate Arab potentates,
Look forward to the Bachelor who gets hot dates.
Praise to the King!
No, no, not Martin,
Not him.
I mean the white one,
King George,
Or Billy G's son.
Given favorable circumstance,
And timely unemployment cash advance,
I'll be in Disney World,
Or Brave New World,
Happy, Fingerprinted,
With wife and kids.
"Mission Accomplished,"
Said the giant sucking sound
aboard Abraham Lincoln's back.
Only "the next world matters.
So who needs jobs
to fight Jihad?
I have poly sheeting
and duct tape to keep warm
at night,
like a hippopotamus in mud.
I'll vote Republican or Democrat
or any mystery cat,
That promises security against evil
and taxes.
I'll lower my thermostat
in Winter,
I'll eat Happy Meals,
Until cholesterol's over 250.
With arid plain ahead,
I will work as prison guard
or long-term care worker.
I will sacrifice for freedom
or free Dixie Chick tickets,
whatever comes first.
I fade into bright orange light.
They hate us more than ever,
That's 'cause we're free
to degenerate and vote for Nader.
